Yes Ann; most all of us will admit we have global warming. What you do not put into your letter is that China is buying our coal and oil to fuel the one coal-fired power plant put into production every week. There is no environmental controls for China as we in the USA are doing much better than any other country and have been for many years.

As a kid; we studied the problems of pollution as to the Blue Ridge Mountains as to Acid Rain. Can you as an educated person explain why the Western Coast Ranges and the Sierra Nevadas have ACID Rain, and not the Blue Ridge Mountains? Could it be we have allowed China to pollute our West Coast in lieu of cleaning up our own mess.

These regulations are causing us to outsource all we buy to the detriment of killing our economy. The clean environmental vehicles and other fixes need electricity; California only produces 15% of what it needs by solar and wind. Oh my God the rest is produced by petroleum. Perish the thought. It is a shame many people do not see the use of and need for gas as we have outsourced our petroleum to other states so we do not see it. California has over 20% of our nation’s oil reserves and we do not use it.
