Climate science is a complex multi-disciplinary/inter-disciplinary field of study. Despite claims of ‘consensus’, there is a wide range of diverse views on climate change within the scientific community and in the general public.
While governments are set on trying to achieve a two-degree Celsius target, or the even more stringent 1.5-degree C Paris Agreement target, this is a delusion, as Ted Nordhaus explains in Foreign Affairs’ “The Two-Degree Delusion: The Dangers of an Unrealistic Climate Change Target.”

So, it is important that we are able to talk about our different perspectives on climate change and to use evidence-based arguments, rather than being climate bullies who call people names.
