Marketplace’s Molly Wood on how technology helps people survive climate change
The climate community is split. Some only talk about renewables, some only mitigation and others adaptation. The circular economy is a way to bring everyone together and look at sustainability holistically. Marketplace launched a new series called “How We Survive,” covering technological solutions that help people survive the worst effects of climate change. Those stories are centered around people, where journalists talk to scientists, startup founders and investors to understand their pieces of the climate change puzzle. Molly Wood, host of Marketplace Tech, said her 20 years of covering technology has shown that people are tired of the fear-based conversation and respond well to solutions. From Circularity19.
